Utah IAP State Organizing & Nominating Convention will be held
Saturday, May 31st from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
by electronic means
All state party officers are up for election: state chair, state vice chair, state secretary, state treasurer. County, municipal, and school board candidates will also be nominated. Lots of opportunities to serve!
Filing for candidates for the 2025 mid-term and municipal elections is
June 2nd through 6th
There will be School Board seats and possibly some County positions will be up for election, as well.
Talk with your local County Election Office for details and filing fees.

Utah IAP State Convention will be held Saturday, May 31, by electronic means, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. This is our state organizing convention. Up for election are all state offices: state chair, state vice chair, state secretary, state treasurer. County, municipal, and school board candidates will also be nominated. Lots of opportunities to serve!
Declaration to be candidates for municipal, county, and school board races will be held June 2nd to the 9th. Municipal candidates and those wanting to run for school board seats need to go to the city recorder or clerk that week. County candidates can declare at the county election office or with the county clerk during those dates.
Kickoff was April 19 with the 250th Anniversary of Lexington and Concord. Expect more big events come July, more info here as it becomes available. Check with your local community for more info on local events, times and places, too.
