Donors are important to any organization, especially political organizations,  because like it or not      it takes money to run the details of the organization (paper costs money, printing costs money, gas to get to and from, events cost money; it takes money to donate to candidates for office, it takes money to open and operate an office, it takes money to have speakers come to conventions and meetings,  it takes money to have electronic meeting options - Zoom, Conference Calls, etc. and even websites!!  Money is the life-blood of any and ALL political organizations, and if you want this organization (IAP of Utah) to keep going it will take YOU putting some of your money WHERE YOUR HEART IS !!  

We have several options below.

All general members of the Independent American Party (who are residents of the State of Utah who claim membership) should be sure to use the $2 check-off box on their Utah income tax form (Line 3) and mark the box with an "M" for the IAP.  This sends the party $2 without costing you anything out of your pocket.  Every little bit helps!

The actual tax instructions for Line 3 of TC-40 individual tax form states:

"If your Utah income tax liability on line 27 plus line 30 is $2 or more ($4 if married and filing jointly), you may contribute $2 to the campaign fund for any of the qualified parties listed below. If this is a joint return, your spouse may also contribute $2 to the party of his or her choice. This contribution will not reduce your refund or increase the tax you owe." (emphasis added)  

If you use code "M" in the box on line 3,  you will be donating $2 for each box checked, one for the taxpayer and one for their spouse, for a total of $4.  For which we sincerely appreciate and 'thank you' !!

An Active Member in Good Standing is a registered voter who supports the Mission and Platform, Constitution, and By-laws, as well as the candidates of the IAP and is committed to building the State party for the cause of Freedom and Liberty.  Annual dues to be an Active Member in Good Standing is an annual donation of $20.  For which we sincerely appreciate and 'thank you' !!

A  'sustaining Member' is a resident of the State Of Utah who supports the Mission and Goals of IAP Utah and wants to do more by donating $10 a month or $120 a year.  Those individuals will receive a certificate naming them as Sustaining Members of IAP Utah after donating a total of $120 in either one sum or after a years worth of $10 monthly donations.    For which we sincerely appreciate and 'thank you' !!

Donor Level one (1) is a resident of the State of Utah who donates $20 a month or $240 annually.  These individuals will be named at the State Convention in the program, as a little thank you and we appreciate your donation ! 

Donor Level two (2) is a resident of the State of Utah who donates $50 a month or $600 annually.  These individuals will be named at the State Convention in the program, as a little thank you and we appreciate your donation ! .

Bronze Level Donors are those who donate $100 a month or $1200 annually.  These individuals will invited to the State Chair's Circle Luncheon at the State Convention and will be named in the State Convention Program on a special page, as a thank you and to show how much we appreciate your donation ! .

Silver Level Donors are those who donate $250 a month or $3000 annually.  These individuals will invited to the State Chair's Circle Luncheon at the State Convention and will be named in the State Convention Program on a special page with the Bronze Level Donors, as a thank you and to show how much we appreciate your donation ! .

GOLD Level Donors are those who donate $500 a month or $6000 annually.  These individuals will invited to the State Chair's Circle Luncheon at the State Convention and will be named in the State Convention Program on a special page with the Bronze and Silver Level Donors, including a photo of each of the Gold level donors, as a means of saying 'thank you' and show how much we appreciate your donation ! .

Platinum Level Donors are those who donate $1000 a month or $12,000 annually.  These individuals will invited to the monthly State Chair's Circle Luncheon as well as at the State Convention,  will be named and honored in addition to being mentioned in the State Convention Program on a special page with the Bronze, Silver, and Gold level donors, with a photo of each of the Platinum level donors as a thank you and to show how much we appreciate your donation ! 

Executive Level Donors are those who donate $5000 a month or $60,000 annually.  These individuals will invited to the monthly State Chair's Circle Luncheon as well as at the State Convention, where you will be named and honored in addition to being mentioned in the State Convention Program. This will be a thank you for your donation and to show how much we truly appreciate you help and donation.
